Alarm systems
As well as acting as a major distributor for some of the best known
names in the business, EPA also manufacturers a range of alarm systems
to suit the agricultural market and beyond. These
include a number of systems to ensure personal safety, prevent disease
spreading and ensure that the premises and production facilities
are kept at their optimum condition. The range includes:

- Alarm systems to monitor high and
low temperature and mains failure. These are from a simple hard-wired system to a radio alarm monitoring system.
- Lone worker systems for people working
on their own, often in very remote locations. This unit comprises
a Pocket unit, which if you are in distress or even have been rendered unconscious, sends
an alarm signal to a pre-determined address. This unit is ideal
for late night patrols.
- A range of telephone dial out systems
to suit landline, mobile phone and most pager systems.
- The spread of disease from unauthorised visitors to your farm is a very real threat.
The Gatepager product helps prevent this. A wall unit is
mounted at the entrance to the farm, and is connected via radio to a waist-held unit held by the farm operator.
